Contests

Contests are the attractive promotional mechanisms not containing in their formula, i.e. in a way of selecting laureates, randomness.

In order to win a prize one has to demonstrate knowledge, skilfulness, speed or creativity. Usually, winners solved given task in the best or the fastest way.

In the contest, at least theoretically, a consumer has a possibility of influencing the result. They decide how fast an answer is sent or when to send a message in order to be the first at particular time. Their creativity can cause that sent promotional slogan is the most riveting for the jury.

It is easier to prepare a contest from legal point of view, it is enough to write down the rules - one does not have to apply for additional permissions.

However, the contests are more demanding for the participant who has to perform a contest task.

The contests are also more demanding for the organizers - in order to avoid randomness and simultaneously ensure attractive mechanism of competition more effort has to be put into preparation.
