Lotteries

According to the definition included in the Act on Games and Mutual Wagering [Art.2.1.]: Random games are the games where the prizes are in form of money or things which result particularly depends on randomness and the gaming rules are described in regulations. They are: (…)
  • Promotional lotteries in which one participates by paid purchase of goods, services or other proof of shares in game and simultaneously one participates (free-of-charge) in the lottery and the entity organizing the lottery offers money or goods as the prizes
  • Audiotex lotteries in which one participates by paid phone call and the entity organizing the lottery offers money or goods as the prizes

Attractive marketing tool

Promotional lotteries are a perfect sale-supporting tool. Lottery mechanism can be easily adjusted to practically every target group. Depending on the target group, place and type of organized lottery, the used mechanisms (concepts) are simple, usually meaning common sampling or more complicated, in a form of games requiring from the participant larger engagement, particularly if they assume use of SMS as communication form.

Text messages, thanks to the simplicity of use, popularity and caused impulsivity of actions (here and now) generate much greater response to the promotional campaigns comparing to the traditional coupon mechanisms.

Lotteries enable offering more attractive prizes because their value that is not to be taxed is 2280 PLN.

The lottery enables offering simple promotional mechanisms which do not cause hard tasks requiring possessing of additional knowledge or creativity. Simple mechanism does not have to conclude in “send your entry, take part in the lottery" although such solution is used the most often, it can be used in an interesting game or lottery referring to bingo or numerical games in which user have a possibility of long and attractive gaming.
