Dispatching SMS / MMS

Realization of the SMS/MMS dispatch leads to very effective reaching chosen Partner's receivers with particular promotion.

The service can be used for:
  • Promotion of the Client’s products
  • Informing about particular event
  • Dispatch of reminders to the Client partners or employees
  • Communication in the loyalty programmes

Dispatches can be realized from the Premium numbers or marketing numbers.

Premium numbers:
  • Lower cost of realization than in the case of marketing numbers.
  • Realization from the numbers: 7XXX
  • Dispatch has to be connected with active (for the client) SMS Premium service, i.e. the text of the SMS has to encourage the receivers to send SMS back to the Premium number
  • Dispatch has to be accepted by GSM operators.
  • Possibility of inserting WAP links in the SMS content – directing to download of multimedia content (e.g. wallpaper with an invitation, movie trailer, ringtone etc.)

Marketing numbers:
  • Realization from numbers: 4XXX/ 3XXX
  • Possibility of overwriting the number with content indicated by the Partner (up to 10 signs)
  • Arbitrary SMS textual content.
  • Possibility of inserting WAP links in the SMS content – directing to download of multimedia content (e.g. wallpaper with an invitation, movie trailer, ringtone etc.)

MMS dispatch - features

Limited compatibility of the receivers' terminals
Much lower order realization comparing to the SMS due to the size and capacity restrictions of MMS dispatches.

Avantis recommendation
Instead MMS dispatches use SMS dispatches. In case when Partner needs to use multimedia content we recommend use of WAP links in the traditional text messages.

Voice dispatches ? so called "Voice SMS"

The dispatches of voice messages are realized with use of the audiotex server. The numbers from database are called (usually stationary numbers) and then the prepared audio message is played.

Voice dispatches are used very rarely because of popularity of mobile phones, simplicity of use and high effectiveness of SMS dispatches.

Voice dispatches are most often used in case when target group usually has stationary phones or where audio message (e.g. recorded by well-known celebrity) results in much better effect being recognized as more trustworthy.

Spots for voice dispatches are prepared in studio as radio spots and their length and construction is prepared in such a way that even in case of answering machine an addressee understands the meaning of the message.

What to we need from Client:

  • Statement (in all variants of dispatches) that owners of all given MSISDN/stationary numbers agreed to receiving marketing information connected with the dispatch.
  • Base of the phone numbers in the defined form.
