AVANTIS-CMS is a platform for managing the mobile content in AVANTIS. Here the mobile multimedia are placed (real-tones, true-tones, flashes, wallpapers, animations, ringtones, logos, etc.). AVANTIS-CMS is a solution made by our company, based on the latest JEE programming standards integrating such solutions like EJB3, JPA, Spring, WEB-SERVICES etc.  Data layer, which provides content storage, is based on the ORACLE products.

An important component of the platform is a module responsible for managing and recognition of mobile terminals. In case when a new terminal sends request to the platform in order to download content, the adaptive content is sent, adjusted to the terminal’s characteristics. Other important elements, responsible for orders managing and processing are:

• Provisioning (PR),
• Orders Management Module (MZZ)
• Partners Management Module (MZP)

PR is a module responsible for supplying the content through WAP, including recognition of mobile terminal model of a user and verification of rights (in case of free content). MZZ is a transactional module responsible for processing and storage of the orders (contents and their parameters) like type of payment, transaction value etc. MZP is responsible for settlement with external partners (content providers, operators, dealers). Basing on the rules defined in MZP and data collected by MZZ the AVANTIS billing system generates the information necessary for financial accountancy and other payments related to the licences, sharing profits etc.

AVANTIS-CMS stores an information about over 30.000 multimedia elements (black&white content and monophonic ringtones are not taken into account).
