SEAT promo action with Bluetooth marketing tools

In 5-7 May 2008 a mobile Seat IBIZA promotional action took place. A 40 day ‘Ibiza Route”, within which the profile and sports character of new SEAT Ibiza is being presented in 17 European metropolises, covers over 50,000 kilometres. 

The convoy will visit the biggest cities in Poland, such as Warsaw, Wrocław or Cracow.  Stops on the route were planned in rush hours so as to attract attention of the greatest crowds of drivers and passers-by. In addition, each person within the place of convoy stop who runs bluetooth function in their telephones will get a free multimedia catalogue which presents the new model of SEAT.


The action objective:

  • Making the promotion of a new model of Seat Ibiza a more attractive event, introduction of communication channels allowing for spontaneous participation in celebration during a three day travelling show of the new car (Wrocław, Cracow, Warsaw).
  • Information about the opportunity of downloading the application was inserted in leaflets distributed by hostesses. On starting the application, a commercial screen is displayed showing the new model of Seat. The time of commercial presentation amounts to a few seconds. After the presentation, the application automatically shows menu screen.


The application contains:

  • presentation of the new model of seat
  • description and regulations of the contest
  • instruction of ordering an application for a friend
  • a list of  Seat showrooms and dealers with contact details
